Video Production Planning:
I have brainstormed the ideas that I am going to use to create my advert alongside my group. The product that me and my group are going to advertise is a drink. The name is going to be called dark skullz because it sounds more freaky and the original name dark souls is already a video game. There is going to be blood coming out of the mask. The objects that I was thinking to use in the advert is a toy spider because that shows some scariness to it straight away and spiders are scary so I think it is a good idea to use this. The soundtrack that would be used in the advert is : A screaming sound , a scratching sound, rain , thunder and a fuzzing light. As well as the sound effects the main music is going to be a dark music. This will add the freaky effect that is needed. The story of the advert is a ghost walking up some creepy stairs with the product in the hand. Then some-one runs across the camera ready to drink the product. The costume idea so far that I have discussed alongside my group is a black robe and a skull mask. This will add a very creepy and freaky part of the advert. The original name of the product was going to be called Van Gough but it was changed because of the artist Van Gough. I think this name doesn't sound as good or freaky as dark skullz because it sounds more of the artist. Dark Skullz brings the horror straight out of the name. The word Skullz is my favourite part of the product name because it sounds more deadly. Blood will be dripping form the mask or the drink showing more freakiness to the advert. The place in College where the advert would/planning to be filmed is some creepy stairs. This is because of the windiness of the stairs and the general fact that it looks very creepy. The only problem that might occur whilst trying to film would be people coming down or up the stairs whilst filming which could stop the filming altogether, That is the only problem at the moment that I feel me and my group will have throughout filming. I don't think there is a way to solve this problem at the moment.
